  • opens Smith's Cove- Rick and Marty chainsawing, in a loader bucket clearing vegetation

    • Marty: is there really a tunnel? a convergence point? follow the tunnel to Money Pit

  • Cave in Pit #2? What? where? they are going to site of Cave in pit #2?

    • wooden beams found in last episode dated to 1730s

      • Marty wants to find a flood tunnel from beginning of Island search

      • Here comes Jack Begley---just...in...time...to..."ASSIST"----he says "ANY GOOD NEWS?"

      • Past search in 1897 Oak Island Treasure Company ! 111 ft. found flood tunnel? made of clay, sand, stones

        • then it flooded and collapsed

    • more core samples being reviewed @ 99-109 ft target zone..sand found...bygone tunnel?

      • 4 ft of sand on sample -- records noted 4x3 tunnnel in question...but then...JACK CALLS MARTY

        • Rick comments NO WOOD found

        • Marty: no cribbing if packed sand was used>

        • Need to keep drilling to prove this theory of sand tunnel --5 ft to the west on same line looking for same core sample

    • Jack, Peter, Gary- detecting @ Lot 27 ...Daniel McGinnis Lot

      • McGinnis owned (shown on show) lots 21 (homestead foundation still there) lot #1, 23, and 27

        • Farmed this land..or dug for treasure ???

        • Rick noted that Dan B. thought it was a shallow cavity on Lot 21, to Money Pit?

      • Gary finds chisel, like swage dated to 1400s? Who was that blacksmith that helped ID the swages?

        • Peter calls Rick and GIVES CREDIT TO GARY FOR FINDING THE CHISEL (not like Alex or Jack)

    • Core samples reviewed at Cave in #2 area..108 ft expecting sand...but they didnt find it.

      • end sonic drilling, go for seismic scanning

    • Alex Gauther- Eagle Canada is back "MASTER BLASTER FAMILY"

      • swamp and Money Pit blasted last time...now the WHOLE EASTERN SIDE OF THE ISLAND will be

        • 15 team members last time..this time 30-35 people from blasters

      • McGinnis sudden wealth years ago...how?

      • Area is defined as "SPECIAL PLACE" (BH) what is this designation? Nova Scotia Info on Special Places

        • Robert Young lot #5 owner also noted didnt go after a treasure license due to SPECIAL PLACE label

        • Laird notes if something interesting on radar, could request permit to dig

    • WAR ROOM and Chipp Reid, NAVAL HISTORIAN and Veteran! invited by Rick to come to War Room

      • military connection to French?

        • wrote books "Lion in the Bay" and "Intrepid Sailors"

        • Spanish, French and British battling the seas

        • Chipp thinks a "water battery" was used on Oak Island, bringing artillery pieces close to water to protect something

          • also finds L shaped structure that was shown on picture to group in War Room

          • French active in area, lots of French artifacts being unearthed

            • 1713- Louisbourg small fishing village established by France (WHERE IS LOUISBOURG ?)

            • 1720- busy port and made into French trading post

            • 1740- Fortress completed, thick walls, secret tunnels, most extensive in N. America at that point they note on show

            • 1745- English take over fort, found no treasure, where did it go?

              • Chipp thinks it could be hidden from English on Oak Island

            • 1746- Duke donvi- sent out for French to takeover Fort again

              • 2 years ago Doug Crowell shared Duke's buring treasure note

    • GPR team on Lot 21 finds annomally, possible 2nd cellar? where does that go to?

    • Dan Henske shares story on Mel Chappel shaft #9 to shore to drain water from Money Pit

      • 1863- last known Money PIt location? How do you lose the location?

        • Shaft #9 is 100ft SE of Money Pit, using a sluiceway to drain (also captures gold like mining operations in 49ers)

        • Plan never tested out, folded operations, follow sluiceway to Money Pit is idea

        • Rick comments this was Dan B info passed to Dan Henskee

        • Team finds water flowing after digging, wood pieces..found sluiceway? Clay also found!!

        • Dan Henskee now royalty of the Island as Rick comments with Dan B. passing

          • Hand dig back up towards Money Pit
